He graduated form Colorado College with a degree in Business and Banking. For 12 years after college Bill worked in the Lubbock, Texas real estate industry.In 1974 Bill returned to Colorado to manager Sussex Realty in Boulder. A short time later, Bill founded Goodacre & Company. John, Bill and their families have been close friends ever since. In 1969, John married Lee, graduated from Texas Tech with a business degree and joined and served for seven years in the United States Air Force as a Looking Glass pilot in command! After falling in love with Boulder when visiting the Goodacres, John, Lee and their children, Kimberly and Josh moved to Boulder in 1977. At that time John transferred his Real Estate license to Goodacre & Company. One year later he started Kidder and Company Real Estate. Over the next 25 years, John worked as Owner/Broker of Kidder and Company and flew as a pilot for Braniff Airways and American Airlines. In the spring of 2003, after 32 years of flying a variety of aircraft, John completed a very successful aviation career as a Captain for American Airlines. John retired from commercial flying, but not from Real Estate. As a partner and Managing Broker for Goodacre & Company, John is enthusiastically devoting all of his time and effort to his client's needs and to office management.
