Bill Goodacre was 18 when he arrived in Colorado from Canada on a hockey scholarship. He graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Business and Banking. For 12 years after college Bill worked in the Lubbock, Texas real estate industry. In 1974 Bill returned to Colorado to manager Sussex Realty in Boulder. A short time later, Bill founded Goodacre & Company.

My personal experiences from living in the Boulder area for over 35 years have me thoroughly convinced that this is one of the greatest areas of the country in which to live. In the period of those 35 some years, I’ve experienced many wonderful aspects of life in this area with my family, which now consists of my wife of 30 years and our two grown sons.
After a highly successful upper management career of over 20 years in the hi-tech manufacturing arena, in 2001 I entered the fascinating profession of helping clients buy, sell, and develop real estate in the Boulder Area. My previous career’s responsibilities focused primarily on organization, problem solving, and high level negotiations, all skills that have proven invaluable in my real estate career.
In 2010 I became Managing Broker at Goodacre & Co., which offers me the opportunity to learn even more about our industry, as well as to share my experience throughout our great team of broker associates.

I moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania in 1983 to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder. In 1990, I married my husband, Tom and we bought our first home together that same year. I have lived in the Boulder area my entire life. There is no where I would rather live. One year he placed 52nd out of 485 swimmers at the Alcatraz Sharkfest Swim in San Francisco after being attacked by a Great White Shark (just kidding). What most people do not know about Dan is the fact that he has never had a cavity – wow, he played high school basketball on a state championship team in Parker, Colorado, he was a state champion swimmer in South Dakota, he played football and basketball in college but rarely takes the time to watch a game anymore. Dan and his wife are vegetarians. More than anything, Dan enjoys laughter and enjoying the moment with family, friends and clients.
I was born and raised here in Boulder, only leaving for a few years to attend Colorado State University. During my time there I served as the Public Relations Chairman for Kappa Kappa Gamma and went on to get my degree in Journalism and Public Relations. While still in college, I obtained my real estate license and started working for Goodacre & Company in 2003, just after graduating. Since that time I have gained valuable experience and expertise in the Boulder real estate market. Being born and raised in Boulder, I am very familiar with everything this great city has to offer as well as the surrounding areas. I graduated from Monarch High School in 2006 and became a licensed real estate agent at the age of 18. I then went to college at Metro State in Denver to pursue a degree in Marketing and International Studies.
